Spring
Around March 20th, the first day of spring,
The colors change to a gentle green
Pink, yellow, tangerine
All those hues have subtle meaning
You’ll understand when you see them gleaming
And all the animals look so serene
Wandering around the quiet ravine
Around March 20th, the first day of spring.
Life no longer seems sad,
And droopy eyes become bright.
Everyone tends to be glad
The chills of cold no longer bite
And with all this we seem to add
A gentle smile at the wonderful sight.
