Payment For Love
She would always say “babe shoes are my fave”.
Did she have love for me? Or was it my tall money?
She could always have more only if she behaved,
Her gaze at the check was the same one she had for me.
It was painful to see when others had more.
I hate that her look made me unable to see,
I stayed … her body was a perfect score.
She would beg for me to stay, but money was the key.
People said don’t trust, but I liked lust;
Then I saw she gave the others, that look I like,
I soon realized my freedom is a must.
No more giving her my check and took a hike.
I had to leave so I could be a real man;
I could not ever pay for love again.
