New and Old
If you can see on the best of bright nights
You can see nearly three thousand candles
To see such a light is truly a sight
A sight nearly to much, one can handle
Through fire and violence this gives me life
Through rough, hard times, it still holds its power
Even with such strength, our light has no strife
And through all this, your heart is still sour
How stubborn are stars, when they fade away
To a solid blue that blindfolds our eyes
Your shrewd, not to be rude, I'd hate to say
Would you be so kind, take off your disguise
How stubborn are stars, when they fade away
Or a reminder, their are better days
