Scampers about the countryside,
(Full of prejudice, not of pride),
To "sickly" sister, aspiring bride.

"Wild" appearance, unladylike distaste,
But fine bright eyes do compensate,
And intensify intentions to conjugate.

Always reading, unbecoming and uncaring,
This only makes her more endearing,
Despite jealous scoffs and jeering.

The author's comments:
This is about Elizabeth Bennett, full of mud and running to see her sister Jane.
