Chamomile Tea
He was obsessive.
He was an addict.
It was repulsive.
His thoughts did contradict
That there were other girls.
After a while though, he couldn’t see them.
Twelve months later, he finally realized that the girl with the curls
Didn’t see him.
A few years later, the girl was given sight
When she saw him, now as a man.
He was off to vacation, about to take flight,
Holding a Coca-Cola can,
And under his arm, for everyone to see,
A beautiful woman, slowly sipping Chamomile tea.
