Brothers of War
Brothers of war
As the guns fire across the dark gray sky
I start to quiver a chill comes along
I shake my bruised bones and try to stay strong
The bombs explode as the dust clouds my eyes
I see them falling and begin to die
As I walk across that old rigged road
Into the darkness and into the cold
I want to help them but I must not cry
When the fear strikes me deep into my core
As they chase us across that bloody field
I want to run, run away from this place
I stand and wait but I can take no more
As I watched my brothers being killed
Knowing that they can never be replaced
