Thoughts
They are like monsters taking over me,
Their haunting words that keep me up at night.
Invisible strings are starting to snap.
My passion is snapped like a plane just crashed.
A silent scream that nobody can hear.
Nobody knows what these monsters have caused.
A smile on her face that covers them,
I feel like i’m a bully to myself.
It is almost like they are sinking me,
I am just like a ship slowly sinking.
A once happy girl is now a dead leaf,
Waiting to be blown away by the wind.
What if my thoughts were not being naive,
And maybe it is me, waiting to leave.
