Sonnet
Although you are a lazy, loud-mouthed yank,
Your brightest grins and ice-blue eyes entice.
Although I cannot smile, I wish to thank
You for your artistry, it’s so nice.
Your silliness, it cancels out sweet words.
The marbles in your brain, they thud & thwack.
Your lies fall out like feathers from a bird,
But I’ll be there to always have you back.
You always seem to want heroic praise.
A hero’s attitude, it lights your fire.
You've kept me waiting for all these days,
Your confidence is what I do admire.
You give such passion, love, and heartfelt care.
I’m glad I got a gem that’s oh, so rare.
