Forgotten
Forgotten.
Forgotten images of your face, forgotten feelings of your grace.
Forgot how good we worked together, when you said we would be forever.
Forgot the features on your face, forgot you voice-- your warm embrace.
Gave up the things I used to know, decided I should let it go.
Slowly giving up our past, foolish thoughts that love would last.
Remember when we played our song? You never really sang along..
Forget it, 'cause it can't be right.
Forgotten memories remembered tonight.
Remember when I felt so lost, couldn't open up my eyes?
Well you helped bring me back and pain helped me to realize.
Maybe I'll end up forgotten, if that's where I belong.
But it doesn't matter to me, I've learned how to be strong.
