The True Act of War
Why is it, so few people start the wars?
Yet so many involve themselves in it.
Only a few are settling their scores.
While everyone else is being hit.
Why, the common folk is hit the hardest.
They lose the most and gain the least from strife.
People who fight are like bits of stardust.
Shining so bright, then dimming out from life.
Those who start it plan for those who parish.
Millions called are like pawns in a game.
They’re forced into a path that’s nightmarish.
Pushed into the Dragon’s hot, deadly flame.
What’s the gain, it’s a shame, so many die.
For someone else’s game, can’t say goodbye.
