Letter to the Heart
Dear Heart,
I know we don't always
See eye to eye.
Each of your decisions,
Make my stress levels fly.
You're emotional, stubborn,
Yet surprisingly strong.
Sometimes you're right,
But most times you're wrong.
I hate when your wrong,
Because you always fall apart.
But I've noticed lately,
You've become a tough heart.
Mistakes don't faze you,
Like they used to before.
You'll grieve for a while,
Then continue to explore.
From the weak, flimsy punching bag,
That I once hated & knew
To the now strong & steady heart
That has become you.
I just wanted you to know,
That I am so very proud.
You've made it through the think & thin
And I am just astound!
Keep holding on,
And power though the pain.
I am always be here for you.
The one and only, Brain
