Hell Hath No Fury
Thrown off the side of a f***ing ship,
you dove right in, but could you swim?
At first, my heartbeat skipped
You jumped from me, you jumped to him
No, not I, no, you’ll regret it
To you I was temporary, thrown out afar
I gave my all, how could I stand it?
Just a flesh wound, melt like a scar
Your elegance faded
You medusa, stone cold b**** of Syracusa
No longer am I elated
Begone now, for I recuse you
This is the Anthem of my apathy
But you’ll be the one to bear the agony.

I recently had a massive fight with someone I greatly cared for and then wrote this to vent. I don't usually write poetry but it seemed like the best way to vent my anger at the time.
