The Tundramaster
I want to see you again, my dear friend
a tragic goodbye you were set to fly
twas you were lost this was a tragic end,
those left had only one thought, which was why
March first, the day everything with you left
the call from Telle froze my heart, will it thaw
the world is a criminal its crime, theft
I miss your art, the way you used to draw,
The way you used to make us laugh, never failed
your heart was great, your soul was amazing
though sadness was always behind you, it trailed
the sparkle in your eye was truly blazing
You will always be the Tundramaster
even though your beauty ended in disaster.

I wrote this poem as a way to remember one of my best friends, his name was Travs and he passed away March 1st from suicide. When I got the news I was crushed, he was such and amazing person always trying to make others happy even when he wasn't. The name came from his Minecraft user ID, he loved the game so much, and that was a very used nickname for him. He impacted a lot of people during his life with his art, writing, and just plain kindness. I miss him so much and wish he was still here but he isn't, he's in a happier place so instead we remember the memories we had with him and create beauty in his honor as he once did.
