Time Can Only Tell

Life never lasts long enough,
It goes by in an instant.
The journey a head is tough
And is forever consistent.
Eyes close for a second,
And you’ll miss it fleeting.
However I beckon,
You aren’t even living.
Through the toughest of times
We can only wonder,
When we’ll truly shine
And stop searching yonder.
The present is now, so live in it.
Time can only tell what we make of it.
