Death and I
Hello once again, old friend death
You still stand by me
On my soul is your icy breath
Pridefully ignoring the free
Your wonderfully cold immortality
Dangling meaning and purpose from your fingers
Crashing waves of calamity
A bleached feeling that lingers
With you I feel so fullfilled
A sense of pride and mercy so mismatched
My hope you once killed
Yet I remain by your side, attatched
A cooling sensation of separation from reality
Your outstretched wings so dark and beastly
