How I Love You So
I do not believe in love at first sight
That is a thing of trivial fiction
But I do believe I love you, with quite
The most pure and absolute conviction
Remember the way you whispered my name
Under your breath between your tainted lips
A name so ordinary, all the same
You turned into beautiful manuscripts
And so I will love you until the end
Of time and all eternity, my dear
Not dreading what our love cannot transcend
But lack of reciprocation, I fear
And thus, it happens so infrequently
That two can love each other equally
