New York
The city that never sleeps
A concrete jungle with no retreat
A place for lonely souls to weep
During their midnight strolls along the streets
Only in New York
The city so nice they named it twice
As they popped a Champaign cork
And paid the price for their vice
If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere
The vendors keep rolling the dice
As they breathe in the expensive air
And keep on raising their price
In New York you've got to have all the luck
If you want to get out with more than a buck
