Are you one of the thousands of people that visit Door County every year? Then Pheasant Park Resort is the place for you. Located only a few blocks away from the marina, it’s a great spot for your family to stay on their next trip.

Located across the street is a sports complex with baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball court, and even a hockey rink all free to use. Just down the road is downtown Sister Bay, Wisconsin with everything from a bookstore to a fine dining steakhouse. While in downtown Sister Bay check out the marina that includes plenty of activities for everyone of all ages. Located directly on the beach is a kayak, paddle board, and water bike rental service which is a great way to start exploring the water for beginners.

At the resort are three floors of rooms which all have porches with an outdoor seating area. Inside the room is a small kitchen with basic appliances and utensils for cooking. There are two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. In the middle of the room is a small dining area and next to it is a living room with a tv and couches. Also the couch in the living room can expand to a pull out bed which is nice for families with multiple children. Overall, the rooms are spacious and allow for families with 2 or more kids enough space and privacy. At the resort are both an indoor and outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub and sauna. A playground with a grill area is also located directly next to the outdoor pool. At the front desk you can rent ping pong balls and paddles along with bags for cornhole games. On the first floor is vending and every floor has an ice machine. Also a game room is located on the second floor across from the ping pong tables. A great way to end each day is by renting a movie from the front desk which has hundreds of movies ranging from horror to classics to family friendly.

Additionally, The staff and managers are all friendly and outgoing, and they go out of their way to accommodate guests. When you first walk into the resort a lady by the name of Cindy is usually working the front desk and she does a great job of booking you a room and making sure your visit is exceptional. The room service is very quick and efficient, which is convenient when on vacation. You can also kindly ask if they would come back later and they always are happy to do it! They have gone out of their way to every year to notify us about new attractions and the best local spots to eat. You can also book a fun activity such as parasailing right at the front desk without having to lift a finger.

Many tourists come from all over in the summer and especially over the fourth of July, so it is best to book a room at least 3-4 months in advance. The best time to visit Door County is over the fourth of July weekend when the entire area is buzzing with energy and excitement. This is the time and place to be if your interested in firework shows every night, festivals, parades, and a great atmosphere of fun! However, no matter what time you book your stay it’s impossible not to enjoy the Door County experience.

In conclusion, Pheasant Park is a great place if your interested in a small town feel with big town excitement and fun. If your into nature or staying inside, fine dining or casual cuisine, fireworks, boat tours, trolley rides, and many more attractions then Pheasant Park Resort is the best place to book your next summertime adventure!
