This book is realistic it would have you on the edge of your seat it will send chills down your spined it's a heroic story of friendship and belonging.

The Outsiders is about a group of boys called the greaser and they live in bad side of town the basically the poor kids and they have problems with the rich kids the socs. Socs a vicious gang of rich kids whose idea of fun is beating up “greasers” like Ponyboy. Until the night someones takes thing too far.

Ponyboy is a fourteen-year-ago he is the youngest of this brothers has light-brown, almost-red hair and greenish-gray eyes. This hair is longer at the front and sides. Dallas Winston he has an elfish face, with high cheekbones and a pointed chin, small face, with sharp animal teeth, and ear like lynx. His hair almost white it was so blond. Johnny has long, jet-black, greased hair that falls in shaggy bangs. He has dark eyes that appear to be black, with tanned skin. According to Ponyboy, Johnny looks like a puppy that was kicked too many times. Johnny is smaller than the rest of the greasers, and has a small build of muscles.

The reason why everyone likes this book is because of the climax when Johnny kills a Socs and he and Ponyboy flee. By this time tension mounts between the greasers and Socs, which leads ultimately to the climax and to Johnny's death.   Ponyboy and Johnny are hiding in the abandoned church because Johnny killed a Soc during a fight. ... They hear faint yelling from inside, and it is at this time that Ponyboy and Johnny go into the burning church to save the children. Dally soon follows them. Johnny get hurt and breaks this back and end up dying and Dallas ever like anyone at all but he saw Jonny as a little brother Dallas go to a liquor store and fake robbing the store owner shot him he calls the gang and tell them to meet him at the park because the cops are looking for him and when everyone ran toward the park they see Dallas and the cop behind him and the cops shoot him and kills him.
