When we were first done with the first chapter I was really into the book. The author of this book is Billie Letts.

In this book Novalee the character was seven months pregnant. She and her boyfriend Willy Jack were going to California to set there lives. Novalee had to use the bathroom so they stoped at Wal*Mart. When Novalee gets change of $7.77 from her slipper she bought she knew something bad happened. She ran out side Willy Jack was gone. Novalee lived in Wal*Mart and had her baby there. She created her own little family with all her friends.

I really did like this book and I found it very interesting. It was sad it was happy it was funny I never wanted to put this book down and read ahead of my whole class. I would reccommend this book to everyone.
