The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games is about a 16 year old girl named Katniss whose 11 year old sister, Prim, is picked to be in the annual “Hunger Games”. When Katniss hears this she volunteers as tribute to take her sisters place and fight for her life in the arena. It’s one of the most amazing books I’ve ever read. I think that how Katniss risks her life for her sister is amazing because not a lot of people would have the guts to do that, I know wouldn't. I think that it is very cruel how the capitol takes these kids and makes them kill each other, especially how young these kids are. It is just disgusting how they’re treated. I think that they definitely shouldn't be forced to kill other kids either, it’s very cruel how they are forced to do this. I would recommend that kids of all ages read this book and the other two books in the series.
