ds are for ever by Ian Fleming is a very intriguing book. It has many aspects to it such as the art of mystery and action. Every sentence keeps you on your toes and wanting to understand more about what's really happening in the book. The action packed scenes will keep you entertained as well.

The setting of this book varies throughout each chapter. During some sections the book takes place in America, England, parts of deserts, etc. This constant change in environment and location keeps the reader very interested. It gives the reader a different sense of imagery that makes them stay intrigued with the book.

The characters in this book are simply phenomenal. James Bond (007) has to be one of the best characters ever created in history. He has this certain intrigue to him. He is intelligent, dangerous, and always seems like he has something he's hiding. Very diverse character. The other characters in this book aren't nearly as note worthy as 007 himself. However each one has their own certain style to them. The "good" guys have different responsibilities and talents that will help stop the "bad" guys and the "bad" guys have their own sense of evil and mystery.

This book is just like the James Bond movie that was released in 1971. Very action packed and keeps you on the edge of your toes. However, it's exactly that which makes the theme kind of absent. I suppose the theme would have to be "stick to your guns".

The plot of this book isn't terrible. James Bond is given a mission to figure out what is what with this diamond smuggling business. Once he is debriefed by "M", he is given a fake name. The fake name is "Peter Franks". He then heads out to America to find out more information and who is truly behind the whole operation. He figures out that "the spangled mob" is behind this and then te book escalates from there.

If I had to recomend this book, I definitely would. It's a fantastic action filled book that will keep you wanting to turn the next page. Reading this book is just as much entertainment as watching the movie. It's a fantastic read and anyone who enjoys reading should not pass this book up.
