Everyone in the Books and Authors section here kept raving about the Twilight series, so I decided to see what it was all about and I start liking the book. What draw me to these books is the emotions behind it. In Twilight, an average high school girl, Bella meets Edward at school, and the end up falling in love. She stops hanging out with her friends because of him and her father is upset. They fall in love and he is basically he is like her body guard. Edward does everything for her, and he eventually tells her that he is a vampire.
Twilight is well written from Bella’s point of view. As you are reading the book it feels as though a movie is playing in your head. Twilight is such a wonderful book that it was a New York Times bestseller. Twilight is an easy and enjoyable read. Its first-person viewpoint keeps the pages turning. This isn't a masterpiece of literary achievement, however. You have to take it for what it is a unique and entertaining, if not flawlessly written, story.
Twilight will almost certainly appeal to teenage girls and many women of all ages, but probably not to the majority of males. It's sure to make readers eager to devour the next three novels. For a
Young Adult novel the book is quite long but don’t let that put you off reading it because each page is to be savored. Believe me, this is one book that you won’t want to end.
