He has the Z-virus What is that? The Zombie virus. This book is called Zombie Kid Diaries: Playing Dead. It’s about a kid named Bill who finds out that he has a virus that makes him a zombie. Later on, he finds out that he got it from his mom. Now he has to go on with life as a zombie. It’s going to be pretty hard because of the odor he has to deal with. It’s also bad because he walks slow and can't run. But it’s pretty good because he reacts to things really fast. He also can defend himself really well by biting people he doesn't like.


I like that there are pictures with the book too. Other people might not but it helps me get a visual on the book. This book is also very humorous. One reason I think it’s funny is because Bill got the virus from his mom. His mom was really out of it one day. She was grunting and hanging her arms low letting them hang. She walked like a zombie and after a while Bill was doing the same thing. So that’s how Bill found out that he had a Zombie virus.


This book is a really awesome book if you like to have a bit of pictures in your book. It’s a very easy read. It’s also very humorous. I recommend this book to kids ages 10-13. The authors are Fred Perry and David Hutchison. If I were to rate this book I would give it an 8/10.
