Shiloh
Awesome book
4 ½

The little boy, Marty, is walking and this little dog starts following him. No matter what the Marty does the dog won’t come to him but it keeps following him. Finally, Marty slips and the dog runs up to him and licks his face. From that moment on that dog didn’t leave his side. The boy and the dog were best friends but there are two problems with that. The first problem is his parents won’t let him have a dog and the second problem is he doesn’t know who the dog belongs too. The boy figures out that the dog belongs to Judd, the meanest man in West Virginia.
When Marty figures out that the dog belongs to Judd he hides Shiloh. Marty just can’t give Shiloh back. He has fallen in love with him and he is afraid that Judd will beat him or even kill it because Judd is so mean. Marty hides Shiloh in this shack in the woods. He brings him food and water every day, he takes really good care of him. Judd ends up finding out about him having Shiloh and Judd takes Shiloh back. Marty won’t give up that easy. He makes a deal with Judd, he will work three long and hard weeks and then at the end of those weeks he gets Shiloh. Judd makes him work so hard that he has blisters and a horrible fever but Marty still refuses to quit.
I absolutely loved this book. In my opinion this is one of the best books I have ever read.

After Marty works for the three weeks Judd refuses to give up the dog. Marty still grabs the dog and runs home. Judd comes to his houses and tries to take the dog by force but Marty’s dad grabs Judd and shoves him. They get in a fight but Judd just talks the dog and drives away. About half way down there drive way Judd stops, sits there for a while, and then lets the dog go. The dog runs back to Marty and starts liking him in the ace again. Maybe there is a little bit of good in Judd after all.

Your final review
In my opinion this is one of the best books I have ever read. I love it and if you read it I know you will love it too.
