Bullying From Speak

Do you know how many people are bullied each year? 3.2 million. Bullying in speak is a big factor. ‘Race, gender, religion, etc’. in speak she gets bullied because she isn’t as attractive and she was the new girl. Easy to pick on. Low self of steam. Bullying was the basic factor of the book (speak). About 160,000 students skip school every day because of bullying. Like Melinda she also skipped school because of it. She could of done many different things but she chose not to.

1 out of 10 students drop out of school because of bullying. I don’t think Melinda was going to drop out but I think if she wouldn’t of talked to anyone things only would have gotten worse. 75% of bullying has been with school shootings. Melinda at the end starts to open up and talk more after talking about her situation/problem.

Melinda was bullied before and after what had happened at the party. It just made it worse. But what really made it worse was her not telling what happened. She just left the problem in her mind and it backfired and she got bullied even more. But when she did try to tell her problem to her friend she got mad and didn’t want to believe it because it was her boyfriend she thought she was jealous and then finally… she asked and then it was true. She should of told someone to stop it

Some reasons why they bully because there jealous or don’t want to be the victim so try to be the one to bully. If ur bullying someone you probably have low self of steam because you got to try to look cool in front of your friends or whatever putting someone else down that can’t really do much about it. Like Melinda got put down cause she couldn’t do much about it and they knew that.

80% of 4th through 8th graders report being victims of bullying Melinda was in the 9th. I wonder if she was getting bullied before she got there... It all REALLY started after the party. What she should of done all along was tell and get it over with so people would of understand more and probably would of saved her from getting bullied.
