Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
Ink heart is my favourite book because throughout the story, the author writes in a way as to create tension which thrills the reader. As you go along the book, the writer introduces a book called “Ink heart” which seems to be a big part of Mo’s life who is the main protagonist. It also introduces characters who have appeared from the book read out by people known as ‘Silver tongues’. Most importantly this book tells you about books in general hinting that the writer is very passionate about books. Throughout the story, when the reader thinks that Mortimer’s family are going to give up, they fight back again, with of course the help of talkative Eli nor who seems to swear a lot when angry or annoyed. This book shows teamwork and to be as a united family and a lot of trust in the people you love and that is the reason I enjoy reading this book!!!
