The Eagle Kite By Paula Fox. This book is about a teenage boy whose father contrats AIDS during a blood transfusion and this book talks about his life after this happens and how he has to deal with it.The object i picked to represent this book would be the eagle kite because this object reminds liam the main character of his dad before his AIDS.The main characters in the book are Liam the teenage boy,Liam's father the person who contracted AIDS,Liam mother who tries to comfort him throughout the book, And Liam's best friend will. The book starts out with liams mom and dad sitting him down and telling him about his dad contracting AIDS then it goes through his life trying to cope with this.Liam later finds out his dad is divorcing his mom because he is gay. I think this book would appeal to kids going through this kind of situation . I would have to give this book one star because I just didn't like it I thought it was very boring and just not my kind of book.
