Dangerous Waters, by Gregory Mone. This book in one word is great, but not all people might think that. Most people who don't like the book haven't read it. The book is intended for teens and adults. kids who might read the book probbaly won't understand every word or most chapters. The book isn't the best, I will admit. In my opinion there are too many problems that occur in one chapter. Also the end can be confusing to most people who can't follow the book. Despite all the problems the book might have, I still like the book. I think you should read this book because, it is verry interesting, it has true events that occured in real life, and it goes into great detail. The author wrote a good book in my opinion.

I found the book verry interesting. The book keeps me in suspense every time I quit reading. The main characters in the book are Patric Waters, he has an older brother, James Waters. The author of the book added in alot of details. The book is writen in third person. It goes from Patric's point of view to a spectating point of view. I wanted to read more after I quit reading. You might feel the same. You will never know if you don't try. The characters in the book are interesting, and there are alot of questions you will ask yourself.

It explains almost every detail. Like food, rooms, or feelings. Like, "The cold night air pressed against his flushed face." The book would be dull if no details were added. The audience is aimed for young teens and adults. (Spoiler it even gives an image of what it was like to have fallen off the ship). I think that adds on good things to the book. Not every thing, or every little detail is described, but it doesn't have to be alot. Also it didn't tell about some things.

The events and places in the book are real. The book does have problems with the problems, like too many problems occur at once. (Spoiler The book is on the ship titanic, and Patric's master, Harry, is real and went to harverd. It even has facts at the end). It includes actual written notes from the story. It also has pictures of the ship being built. I think this is important to include theis things because some people might think it is fiction. There are some details that was not explained. (Spoiler like when Patric got to harvard, I was left wondering how he got home, and what happened to his mom when he told her about his brother).

You could make a image of why I think it is a good book. You are going to have to read the book to find out. I think the book is very interesting. The characters are interesting. The book is two hundred and thirty pages long, with thirty six chapters. A long book you could say. I read slow, so I took longer to finish. I think you should read this book because, it is verry interesting, it has true events that occured in real life, and it goes into great detail. I recomend you read this book, who knows, you might like it.
