Eragon

Eragon is a fantasy book by Christopher Paolini. This is without a doubt one the best books I have ever read. Imagine a land where dragons and their riders rule the land. Elves, dragons, dwarves, and humans live in harmony. But then a traitor, stricken with grief over the loss of his dragon, destroys it all. He steals a dragon hatchling and kills the riders. Can Eragon; the first rider of a new age, Roran; his cousin, the Varden; a rebellion organization, and the village of Carvahall defeat the menace?

Follow Eragon as he journeys to defeat the desecrators known as the Ra’zaak, defeat said traitor Galbatorix, discover his true identity, and recover Alagaesia’s past. Watch with open mouth wonder as a dragon hatches for him, he fights a shade, and much much more. A must read.
