“Click Here” by Denise Vega follows the life of Erin Swift, whose life is turned upside down when she finds out she won't be sharing any of her classes with her best and only real friend, Jilly. At first, Erin causes drama with her enemy, Serena, falls for a cute boy named Mark in her homeroom, and starts to make friends after joining the Intranet Club. However, things start to change once her loyalty to Jilly is questioned, Mark falls for Jilly, and the tention between Serena and Erin increases.

Throughout the year, Erin writes in her diary blog about everything that goes on. Here, she reveals all her thoughts and secrets, as well as those of others too. She turns to it to spill all her darkest premonitions, worries, hopes, fears, and dreams, and to share her stories as they happen. So when her disk containing her blog is accidentally published to the entire school, she's absolutely mortified.

In order to get her friends' forgiveness, she goes through a series of steps. First, she writes them each a letter, explaining and asking them for their sympathy. Then, Erin calls continuously until their parents ask her to stop. Finally, Erin starts wearing a sandwich board around school begging her victims to forgive her, and she publishes a public apology for the entire school to read.

In conclusion, the book teaches the reader the important lessons of staying strong even in the face of fear, to always be forgiving, and perseverance. Erin is first shown as a helpless seventh grader, but in the end pulls though to show that she was willing to take ownership of her actions.
