A group of murderurs have framed a man for a crime they have committed, and it is up to one of his very best friends, Alex Cross, to prove him innocent and find the real killers. Overall it is a good book, and I do recommend it to other teens.

The vocabulary in the book was somewhat complex, but it is still targeted to an intermediate level. There were parts of the book that I had to look stuff up, but it is still a book for probably 7th to 9th grades.

The authors tone was defiantly effective in some parts but in some It defiantly lacked. The tone was suspenseful because it is a mystery and he could realy keep you on your toes. 

The book takes place in the nations Capitol Washington D.C. where there has been a murder I'm a near 30 year old woman and the group that did it have framed another man to get away with it.

I normally don't like to read at all but this book kept me wanting to read on. The outcome of the book is shocking but that is in the book itself.
