When you find yourself on an Island stranded with nothing to eat or drink, Just a couple of your friends. How would you feel I would feel nervous?
Luke a thirteen year old boy was traveling on a boat with four of his friends when all the sudden the boat hit something and started to sink. Luke was then at sea for a while then he saw an island and swam toward it as soon as he got there he passed out. When he awakens he could see four people in the distance, they got closer and closer and began Luke recognized them. It was four of his friends from the ship. It was Charla, Thomas, Lyssa, and Will.  As they all try to get off the island are they all alone.
Gordon Korman wrote Island in third person omniscient. When you read the story, it almost feels like you are there at a beach or an island. When they got back to the camp and out the forest Luke and Thomas could feel the nice breeze on their face and smelled the fresh air when all the sudden they could hear a plane nearby could they escape? Gordon Korman, A good author that keeps you wanting to read what will be next.
Anyway the book Island kept me reading and reading and reading it’s so good. I recommend this book ton anyone who likes action or suspense books but there are some parts that kid 3-5 shouldn’t read. After reading Island it made me want to read more, well luckily there’s a whole series so will you read them?
