Fiction

This is not any other middle school stories. It have life lesson, interesting and it’s a very funny book to read. Here is the life of middle school to Jaime Grimm.

A young, average, middle-school student, Jamie Grimm, knows all the socials group in Middle school. There are the popular kids, the girls and even the bullies. But, he doesn’t let that get to him even being in a wheelchair. Jaime has goals ever since he won most “Funniest Kid Comic” in the whole state of New York. His next goal was to win “Planet’s Funniest Kid Comic”. But, one of Jaime’s best buddies had an incident at school, so his dreams to be “Planet’s Funniest Kid Comic” on hold to help out his friend out. But, they are not alone on this task; Jaime has two other friends by his side to help. He will try to improve his “Funniness” along the way. Jaime Grimm lives with his mean auntie and uncle and his annoying cousins. The reason Jaime lives with them is because his parents and little sister was killed in a car accident that put Jaime in a wheelchair. He sometimes has flashbacks of them and stuff they used to do together, but he still stayed strong. This book is from Jaime Grimm perspective so basically its first-person point of view.
I think the author achieve his purpose because he trying to teach kids to never give up on your dreams and it goes along with the theme of this book. Another theme that I will give for this book is put your family or friends over anything. I give this theme as well because Jaime put his dreams on hold to help someone he cared about, which was his friend. In my opinion this book is very interesting and funny book. The strength in this book is that they give a life lesson and it will catch the reader’s attention. I really don’t find anything wrong with this book. I recommend this book to all the Middle School and Elementary students because they can see what middle school is like in Jaime’s school and make text-to-self connections at their own school.
This book “I Even Funnier” left me a good impression. Even though this book is funny, it still teaches you a life lesson that you will need in everyday life. I want to reader to know from this book is to never give up on something you want because one day it might come true.
