One day his mom told him to leave David very surprised and happy at the same time, he wanted to leave, but where would he go? As David left he got caught up at a pizza place the man called the police and everything! David did NOT want to go home David terrified & frightened of what his mother would do to him. David’s father had come to get him from the police station and lied to the police telling him, he ran away. David, so shocked and mad at his father, he should have told the truth!

David Pelzer talks about his life in The Lost Boy, he wants the readers to know its ok for them to tell someone about what’s going on, because it can get worse if you just keep it to yourself. I recommend 6 and older people to read this powerful book it will help so many people that is going through this same predicament that David is in. I would recommend 6 and up because they would understand what is really going on to the little boy, and how hard he struggles to get out the terrifying house he once loved and enjoyed.

The Lost Boy makes me so sad! It will make you cry I have never cried over a book, EVER! I love it so much it makes you worry and also want to find the mom that did that to her own son and do the same to her so she can know what it feels like! It’s very interesting you would LOVE this book; it’s the best book you could possibly read. I recommend you get it now before it’s too late!
