The Survival Games by Sharon Jennings
The Survival Games
Do you ever had any experience at your school camp? If no, I suggest you to read Lost. This book was written by Sharon Jennings. This story was based on a boy named Rafe who has lost in the woods. Rafe learns that being circumspection will lead him to a survival. I loved this story.
Rafe is a young boy who has a perfect life and he wishes that he could be a counsellor in which he gets to be it. Rafe is a counsellor in a strange camp. He knows that everyone deserves the rights to make their own decision and Rafe has to obey everyone. First night at the camp, Rafe’s friend, Matt, runs into the woods and Rafe runs after him. Matt tells Rafe that he doesn’t want to live in the earth anymore because he never has freedom in his life. Rafe knows this fact very well because Matt is facing with his bullying’s classmate. But, Rafe is trying to change Matt’s manner. The boys can no longer deal with the cold weather during the night time and the animals in the woods that could attack them. Do you think Matt wishes will come true? Well, I recommend you to read this book and you will find soon!

First, this book has a strong meaningful moral: “Do your best. If you do your best, you will succeed.” This is an important lesson because if you do your best, you will gain the result of what you have done, this book teaches the readers many things. First, the readers will learn the situation in the woods and can use this knowledge to apply in real life. Matt and Rafe make a fire by burning kerosene, old cloth, and ripped the paper to make frame.
Second, this book teaches the readers to be fairness to others people even those people may have low position than you. In the book, Raff is the only person who doesn’t bullies his classmates, Matt. In the first chapter, Matt’s classmates bullies Matt and called him, doormat instead of his real name. When Rafe knew that everyone tried to make Matt feel bad, he helped Matt in every ways to prove to everyone that Matt is a dauntless boy.
Lost is a fiction books in which it’s based on an adventure and mystery. If you’re interested in this book. Then I suggest you to read this book and you will love this book as much as I loved.
