Laura Hillenbrand is the author of Unbroken, this is one of the best books I have read by far. This book grabs your attention it is also not just true but inspirational.

This book is about a young boy named Louie Zamperini that is troubled in the beginning and has some problems that grows up to be a good, athletic man. Eventually he goes to the Olympics then serves in the Air Force. Finally captured by Japanese enemies during WWII.

This is a very good book Young adults/teenagers can learn a lot from the book, I know I did. Although in the beginning of the book it was very slow, but later on I picked it up and it started to come all together. Honestly this book was the book I read this summer because my mom told me to. I had no idea that this book would be one of the best books that I read that was non-fiction.

In the end of the book Louie Zamperini gets freed from Japanese POW camp and later gets married. He lives a very good life after the war. Although he is not as good a runner as he used to be.Other than the beating and torture at the Japanese POW camp the ending was my favorite part of the book.
