You feel every emotion the characters in the book feel; Jean Valjean struggling with his past, Javert grappling with what is right, and Fantine pleading with God to save her. You are with them all as Victor Hugo weaves multiple intriguing characters into this entrancing story of a man, who learns how to change his fate by looking closer at the meaning of life.  Follow the journey Victor Hugo creates as you cry, fight, and laugh with the characters. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Without knowing it, you will find yourself cheering on this extraordinary man, as he battles his most feared adversaries, fights off a band of thugs, and improvises multiple daring escapes.
