Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner start off by giving their perspective on what is going on in the world. They really go into detail on things most people clearly do not see. There are many different incentives that each person has in making decisions in their lives. This book is a great read. It really gets you involved in the real world and gives you many ideas for what it is like to be in it. It gets you thinking on a whole different level. This book gets you thinking about everyone around you, but mostly about yourself and what you would do in this given situation. Freakonomics is not to formal and provides you information that you can use.
Many things happen in the world, but do you really see what's going on between the lines? Both authors get you thinking about many questions. The plot is clearly visible in what they are trying to achieve as authors. They get you answering the questions you may have asked. They provide broad explanations of a certain situation or situations, and then they narrow it down into few parts of what it actually is. Your understandings become way useful in everyday life.
The thought counts in everything you do especially in this book. As I read I received many ideas of my own just like pictures in my head. It puts many useful images in your head that could be used throughout your life. The images it has put into my head is when you want to be successful you have to achieve and accomplish many goals you will have set for yourself. While reading I pictured things that I have not really pictured before. I began understanding many things that without reason could not be understood. You may have many favorite parts of this book and that is great. It is how you interpret everything that will make it a favorite part. It symbolizes real life and what you do with the information provided is up to you.
There are great lessons and meanings given from this book. It is how you understand what you are reading in order to make a conclusion. I have learned a variety of information that is very useful. There is so much information in this book it is magnificent. It is understandable, and the authors make it in a way to be readable and where you could pick up this useful information as well.
Freakonomics is a great read overall. This book receives an automatic A+ as a review. It clearly justifies its use in giving me information I will use everyday and think about as I am doing something productive. I would recommend this book to anyone. This book really opens your eyes on what the real world is like and what the people in it are thinking. It is clearly a understandable book and makes you think as you read every word. It is a great book that explains people's incentives and it explains what those incentives might be as well. It will get you nodding your head all the way through and thinking I understand or I can relate to why that outcome turned out the way it did.
