I would give "They Poured Fire on Us From the Sky" a solid 5 stars because of the suspenseful story of these 3 boys. These 3 boys came into the civil war in Sudan and they were forced to travel across with Sudan without food or water. All they had was each other and they had to learn how to survive together. They were not treated right as they would be beaten and they would have to figure out how to protect themselves and heal themselves. They were not liked by really anyone and they needed to find a better life.

this story really gets your attention and hard to stop reading it. This really opened me up and I saw how bad these people were treated and it actually happened. The way these kids and others were treated is horrible, but it is also awesome how they fight through everything. This could also be inspirational because knowing what these kids were forced to go through and they never stopped, they stuck with each other and fought super hard. Knowing that they lived a bad life and them trying to find something better for them. Also the way of them getting food and water is terrible because they barely got any. I would recommend this book to anyone because it is an all around great story.
