The theme is insightful because it shows that life is a roller coaster if you have something planed out life will usually throw something your way which will put a wretch in your plans. Then you have to find a way to overcome this problem and get back on track. I chose this quote it shows an unfair event she couldn’t escape. “All I can think about is how unfair the whole thing is, The Hunger Games” (Collins 31). Life is not always going to be fair and there will be times when you get so frustrated you feel like there is no way out, but it is in these moments that you find out what you are made of. You will either preserve through this obstacle life has put in your way or you are going sit there waiting for someone to pull you out. Although that doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help. “Did he mean for me to have them? He must have. Because there they were at my feet” (Collins 117). I like this quote because it shows that we weren’t meant to go through life alone. There are going to be times when we hit an obstacle and can’t get across without a little help. What is the point of having people around you if you don’t interact? A life without friends is pretty sad because you have nothing to help you, encourage, or enjoy something with you. There will be times when life calls for you to ask others for help and make new connections with a new friend you never know you wanted.

I recommend this to mature readers because it has violent scenes and some nudity.
