It (1990)
It is a movie about a group of outcasts and their battle against an evil clown. This movie came out in 1990; this is not the movie that came out in 2017, which was a remake of this move. It is based off of Stephen King's massive book that is well over a thousand pages. The kids soon learn that the clown is actually an evil demon, but that doesn't change the fact that the clown kills children. In order to stop this clown, the group of outcasts must work together and face their worst fears.
This movie is creepy from start to finish but isn't that horrifying. The movie was originally made for TV, so as a result, this horror film is not that terrifying. In fact, one might make the claim that the only terrifying thing is Tim Curry as It. The ending is lame and doesn't do the first half justice. The first half is superb, though, but it all falls apart in the second half. So because of that, this movie doesn't receive that high of a review but, instead, is more like a seven out of 10.
