Toy Story
Toy Story is not only one of the greatest animated movies of all time, but it is also one of the greatest movies of all time, period. The movie revolves around a group of toys that belong to a kid named Andy that is always there to play with them. Even though Andy and the rest of his family don't entirely realize that the toys are alive, when nobody is watching them, the toys move around and manage to talk with one another, giving them lives that are always exciting and action-packed. One of the toys, Woody, is an honest cowboy that belongs to Andy and believes that he is the favorite. However, Woody sees this position as jeopardized when Andy's parents buy Andy a new toy in Buzz Lightyear, a cool action figure with several different functions. To make matters worse, this Buzz Lightyear doesn't understand that he's a toy and believes that he is a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet, which means that Buzz Lightyear and Woody never get along from the very start. Even though Buzz and Woody are far from being friends at first, they must put aside their differences when they are forced to escape the clutches of a devious neighbor named Sid Phillips after Andy's family moves to a new house. If they are going to have any chance of reuniting with Andy, Buzz and Woody must learn to work with one another and become the friends that they were always meant to be.

The movie is at its best when its showing the raw emotion and grit of its toy characters, and these characters are showcased at their very best in the epic conclusion that magnificently wraps up the entire adventure cohesively.

"Why would Andy want you? Look at you! You're a Buzz Lightyear! Any other toy would give up his moving parts just to be you. You've got wings, you glow in the dark, you talk, your helmet does that... that whoosh thing. You're a Cool Toy. As a matter of fact, you're too cool. I mean - what chance does a toy like me have against a Buzz Lightyear action figure." - Woody
