When I first starting watching this film I was expecting the cliche plot of a family brought together by a death of one of their family members. I was presently suprised to find out that the plot was more complex than I had thought. The main character Abbey, really suprised me on how mature she was at only eleven years old. I loved how everyone was expecting for Abbey to willingly give her kidney to her sister Kate, who was dying of Lukemia but their was an interesting twist that made Abbey not want to save her own sister's life. This movie shows the struggle of Abbey's mother in denial of her dying daughter and how the power of Abbey helps Kate make the decision she really wants for her own life.
