Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose to either live by amputating one of your body parts, or die and suffer? This is the true story of mountaineer Aron Ralston. While exploring a canyon in Utah, Aron decides to make one more move as he is climbing the canyon. But as he takes that one step, a big boulder pins and traps him in between another rock. As he struggles for survival, he runs out of food and water. To quench his thirst, he drinks his own urine. To prevent his blood sugar from dropping even lower, he stabs himself and sucks on his own blood. He even video tapes himself in case he dies, and tries scraping and chipping off some of the boulder. Finally the decision comes to mind. Will he amputate his own arm? Or will he stay trapped between the boulder, suffer the consequences and die?
