Sixteen Candles MAG
Tired of the typical '90s movies? Looking for somethingthat will keep you laughing? Take a blast to the past with "SixteenCandles," a classic '80s flick with charm.
"SixteenCandles" stars Molly Ringwald as 16-year-old Samantha Baker, who discoversher entire family has forgotten her birthday in the midst of her sister'swedding, a school dance and her grandparents' visit. She proceeds through thecrazy day of a typical teenager - going to school, tolerating her family, findinglove and, above all, growing up.
The memorable characters guaranteenonstop laughter. The hysterical scenes involving crazy foreign exchange studentsand a geek chasing Samantha are worth rewinding over and over again.
Thehairstyles, trends and phrases from this time period are also entertaining. Theclever script provides not only a humorous comedy, but also an endearing andmemorable story. Teens today can definitely relate to Samantha's problems andshare in her triumphs.
Although aimed at teens, I recommend this movie toanyone looking for something unusual. "Sixteen Candles" is guaranteedto make you laugh out loud!
