Nine
This movie may be the most old-school, but it is still a great movie. It has life-threatening sounds that make you picture monsters in your head. The movie “9” is an adventurous story/movie about ragdolls, with each a number on their back, and little bigger than your fist. They were born in the middle of a war between man and machine, where the ragdolls outwait the war in a church.
The movie starts where 9 is “born”. Nine opens his eyes twice on the floor and sits up. He looks at his hands made of copper, and starts to stand up. He finds a zipper on his chest, where he can place something inside. He hears the creaking and banging windows. He tries to speak but doesn’t have a voice box. He sees a dusty button like figure close to him and picks it up. He still hears the creaking and banging of windows, so nine puts the button-like inside his chest and goes up to the windows and push them open, it was just war. He walks down from the house to take a closer look. Curiously, he picks up a wrench. In seconds he sees a bright light coming towards him. He hides behind a can getting ready, 3, 2, 1, swing! He hits another ragdoll, 2?
There are others? Nine meets more ragdolls with different numbers on their back. One, two, five, seven, eight, three, and even more. The leader 1 tells 9 what happened long before 9 were there. Nine understands but wants to know more. One ignores 9 and doesn’t answer. One tells 8/bodyguard to get 9 out of the room. Eight shoves 9 out of the room with a little chuckle. Nine takes risks with 5 to get answers. The movie continues.
The movie has special effects because when something blows up, it looks like the explosion will come out of whatever you’re watching on. The movie looks a bit 3D on a big screen. If a machine flew threw a glass window, the window would look like it is coming for you.
Also, the sounds the movie made were very realistic sounding. When 9 gets his voice box fixed, it starts very fuzzy, and gets more and more clear, or if a ragdoll drops something or falls, or even if a sword is swung. The machines’ sounds are life threatening. When a beast roars, it sounds like a furious lion. If a pterodactyl screeches, it’s like a hawk is flying toward you screeching. When the “machine” is furious, it electrifies itself all around.
In conclusion, “9” is an awesome movie with great sounds, special effects, adventure, and thriller. You will not regret watching this movie.
