The Good Dinosaur
Pixar has done it again! I keep waiting for them to slip up but it doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon. They spend so much time perfecting their work it's no surprise that it all turns out to be a masterpiece.
The Good Dinosaur is a touching adventure, following the tale of "teen" dino Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) who is trying to earn his mark on his family's farm. After a series of tear jerking events Arlo is swept away from his home on a journey of trials. He ends up bonding with a young human whom he calls "Spot" (Jack Bright.) The two struggle to survive as they run into several other dinosaurs, good and bad, and fight against mother nature.
The animation is beautiful, the soundtrack is perfect, the characters are fun, and the story line is a meaningful one. Overall I think I would give the movie a four out of five stars. It's a good family movie to see this weekend. Take tissues.
