A Better Life
As the movie keeps going on things just seem to keep getting worse for Carlos and his son. His son is falling down the wrong path. And the life of an immigrant is taking a toll on him as he faced many hardships his son wants to be part of a gang
In the movie it shows different sides of society between immigrants and a legal citizens immigrants have it harder doing back breaking work and doing things most wouldnt to take care of their family but in this movie carlos does whatever it takes to feed his son and pay back the 12,000 dollars he owes to his sister but he seems to have a problem picking people with loyalty to himt
Luis just seems to hate his aunt because she left him and his dad to get married to some white guy who doesn't like there family he also isn't very fond of his father he sees him as an stupid immigrant he just doesn’t understand why his life is the way it is he gives off an attitude that’s says he’ll give it all up to just be a regular American kid.
