Burton’s Frakenweenie, produced by Walt Disney, is a stop motion black and white animated film.Frakenweenie is about a boy who loses his dog and resurrects him with electricity.The stop motion and black and white aspect of the makes the film distinct and special to the audience.Burton uses a tone of black and white imagery throughout the movie.This choice of imagery is especially useful is when the main character’s dog,Sparky, dies. During this scene, it shown that the day is very gloomy and sad. Moreover, Burton also includes a scene where he shows the grave of the deceased dog (Frakenweenie 2012). Knowing this, the viewers can infer that Agostus is greedy and gluttonous (Charlieand the Chocolate Factory 2005). Additionally, the audience can see that closer,long shots reveal that the particular situation is of importance. To illustrate, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory you can see that the buisnessman is looking over his workers. With the camera angle that is used in this scene, it is clear that he is more superior and dominate (Charlie and The Chocolate Factory 2005).
